Gate City Bank donates to charitable organizations

Gate City Bank donated $94,300 in April and May 2010 to area organizations as part of its commitment to support the communities it serves.

Local donations included those to Eastwood Elementary, United Way of Cass Clay, West Fargo Chamber of Commerce, West Fargo Public Library Summer Reading Program, West Fargo Public School Backpack Program, and YWCA Cass Clay.

Additional donations were made to regional organizations including the Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association Camp Sioux, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Boy Scouts of America Northern Lights Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes of North Dakota, North Dakota Association for the Blind, North Dakota Troopers Association, and Special Olympics.

A $1.1 billion mutual community bank, Gate City Bank has been providing complete banking services to its customers since 1923. Gate City Bank has 32 convenient banking offices across North Dakota and Minnesota, and employs more than 400 people.
