G&F sets tentative season dates

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has set tentative opening dates for the 2010 season. The dates will not become official until approval by governor's proclamation. Tentative dates include:

• Spring crow - March 13.

• Spring turkey - April 10.

• Fall crow - Aug. 21.

• Dove - Sept. 1.

• Deer and pronghorn antelope bow, mountain lion - Sept. 3.

• Sharptailed grouse, Hungarian partridge, ruffed grouse, squirrel - Sept. 11.

• Youth deer - Sept. 17.

• Youth waterfowl, sandhill crane - Sept. 18.

• Early resident waterfowl - Sept. 25.

• Pronghorn gun - Oct. 1.

• Youth pheasant, regular waterfowl - Oct. 2.

• Pheasant, fall turkey - Oct. 9.

• Deer gun - Nov. 5.

• Deer muzzleloader - Nov. 26.
