The girls began planning their project in October, seeing it come to fruition as they learned the necessary steps required to conduct such an event, while developing courage, character, and confidence.

The bronze award is the highest earned award at their level of fourth and fifth graders.

Adopt-A-Pet, Cat's Cradle, FM Humane Society, Hightail Horse Ranch & Rescue and a Sheltie Rescue were the agencies participating and benefitting from the girls' hard work.
