Girls basketball wins eleven straight games

The West Fargo girls basketball team continues to roll through the opposition. They beat the Grand Forks Central Knights 84-48 on Tuesday, then beat the Devils Lake Firebirds 97-53 on Saturday to win their eleventh consecutive game.
On Tuesday, the team was led by Amanda Levin, who had 14 points, six rebounds and four steals. Christine Baltezore added 15 points and four assists of her own and Cassidy Thorson pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.
Baltezore led the team on Saturday with 18 points, six assists and five steals, but the Packers had six players score in double digits to trounce the Firebirds.
The EDC-leading Packers will host the Moorhead Spuds tomorrow night for a 7:30 p.m. game, then host Red River for a Saturday afternoon game at 3:15 p.m.
