The Packer track teams' Friday outing at the East-West Classic in Grand Forks saw a 226.5-point, first-place finish from the girls, while the boys team took fourth with 103 points.

The boys ended with three first-place finishes, two of which came from senior Jordan Bishoff in the long jump and high jump. The other came from senior Caleb Mattila in the javelin throw.

The girls, on the other hand, finished with eight first-place finishes. Three of them came from junior Amanda Levin, in the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash and as the final leg of the 4x100 meter relay team.

Freshman Kennedi Sand earned four first-place finishes in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and as the second leg of both the 4x200- and 4x100-meter relay.

The Packers now move onto the Eastern Dakota Conference Championships on Saturday at South High School at 1 p.m.
