The West Fargo girls hockey team continued its strong season, beating Mandan 8-0 on Friday and Fargo South-Davies 4-0 on Saturday for their sixth straight win.

The team was led on Friday by senior forward Kelly Krahn, who scored two goals and had three assists against the Braves. The other goals came from Alli Springer, Janey Sandoval and Tori Holland, all of whom had two goals a piece.

Saturday’s four goals came from four different skaters: Holland, Krahn, Sandoval and freshman forward Gillian Sauter.

Sandoval is currently leading all North Dakotan skaters in scoring. She has 14 goals and 24 assists (38 points) so far.

The 11-3-0 Packers will host Warroad, Minn., on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. They then head to Jamestown on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. game.
