On grounds entertainment a must-see

The Red River Valley Fair's on grounds entertainment is a must-see with scheduled entertainment acts to include the Big Bear Show, Swampmaster Gator Show, Steve the Pretty Good and Zerebko's Petting Zoo, available all six days of the fair and free with your paid gate admission.

Big Bear Show

A must see for kids of all ages, The Welde Big Bear Show has been featured in the animated Disney Movie "Brother Bear," and has appeared in the movie "The Big Fish" and at numerous Universal, Disney and 20th Century Fox Studios activities.

Billed as an entertaining and educational show, the Welde family has developed a presentation and exhibit filled with bear facts and information admiring the natural beauty and sometimes comical antics of these majestic creatures. The bears have been trained with respect, love and affection by enhancing their natural behavior and developing the individual personality of each bear. 

Show times are 1:30; 3:30 and 6 p.m. daily.

Swampmaster Gator Show

Watch as the Swampmaster catches an 8 foot, 200 pound Alligator with his bare hands, resulting in thrills, laughter, and valuable information for all ages. Children will even be allowed to hold a baby alligator safely and have their picture taken by the expert handler, Jeff Quattrocchi.

Show times are 2, 4 and 7 p.m. daily.

Steve The Pretty Good

Presenting comedy magic that is always fresh, original, clean and hilarious and perfect family entertainment with audience participation and plenty of laughs. The Steve the Pretty Good show delivers on that on the Stop-N-Go Stage, taking the classics of magic and giving them a unique and funny twist and then transforming his audience into hilarious magical assistants. Does someone get sawed in half? You Bet. Can he make someone float? Absolutely. Will people be amazed and laugh, a lot? No doubt about it.

Show hours are: Tuesday, July 10, 1 p.m.; Wednesday, July 11, Thursday, July 12, Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14, all 5 p.m.

Zerebko's Petting Zoo

The nationally known Zerebko Zoo is back. This family owned and operated Exotic Animal Petting Zoo and Pony Ride is an educational and entertaining experience where young and old can meet animals from all around the world including: a camel, zebra, fallow deer, buffalo, giraffe, goat, llama and more. This exhibit is open all six days of the fair from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
