Hahn attends national research conference
Diane Hahn of West Fargo was among 29 students from Carthage College (Kenosha, Wis.) who presented their work at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. The conference was held April 3-5 at the University of Kentucky.
Hahn presented research on the topic, “Strengthening the Electorate by Improving the Role of Student Government in United States Colleges.”
Attracting more than 4,000 students, the National Conference on Undergraduate Research is the country’s largest conference dedicated to undergraduate research, scholarship and creative works in all disciplines.
Students from a wide variety of academic disciplines give oral or poster presentations, receive feedback on their work, learn more about available career options and view other research in their field.
Carthage College is a four-year, private liberal arts college with roots in the Lutheran tradition. The campus, an 80-acre arboretum on the shore of Lake Michigan, is home to 150 scholars, 2,500 full-time students, and 900 part-time students.
