Hahn awarded scholarship

Diane Hahn, a graduate of West Fargo High School, was one of only 10 high school seniors nationwide to receive a 2010 scholarship from Harland Clarke Holdings Corp. The scholarship recipients are dependents of employees of one of the three wholly-owned subsidiaries of Harland Clarke Holdings Corp.: Harland Clarke, Harland Financial Solutions and Scantron. The $1,000 scholarships are renewable annually for up to four years, based upon the recipients maintaining a defined grade point average.

As a student at West Fargo High School, Hahn achieved a 4.0 GPA and was ranked second out of 417 in her graduating high-school class. She was involved in and held leadership roles in several organizations, including French Club, National Honor Society, West Fargo Speech Team, Band, Tri-College Math Competitions, School Newspaper, Youth Leadership Program, Student Leadership Team at her church, played piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music, selected for the Youth Leadership Program with the FM Chamber of Commerce. Hahn now attends Carthage College and majors in Mathematics and French. She is the daughter of George Hahn, who is employed by Harland Financial Solutions.

According to Chuck Dawson, President and CEO of Harland Clarke Holdings Corp., "Our company is proud of the achievements of our employees and their children. We have long supported the educational endeavors of both."
