The West Fargo High School Drama Department is pleased to be introducing a dinner theater fundraiser at the school.
Enjoy dinner, dessert, and two one-act productions Friday, May 9, and Saturday. May 10, as drama students present an evening of plays by Alan Haehnel. On the evening's menu is sweet and sour chicken with rice, salad, dessert, and coffee. Dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m., the drama Fourteen Lines will take the stage at 7 p.m., dessert will be served at approximately 7:45 p.m., and the comedy Making Nice will begin at approximately 8:45 p.m.
The cast for the productions consists of thirty 9-12 grade students under the direction of WFHS Drama Director Sarah Tron and student director Amy Walen. Tron directs the drama Fourteen Lines which examines the lives of five seniors desperately trying to graduate. This play was performed in competition at the State Class A Play Festival in April at Fargo South earning two of its performers Outstanding Acting Awards. Walen's comedy, Making Nice, takes a hilarious look at the inner workings of a theatrical production that has gone oh-so-wrong.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $8 for children under the age of twelve. They can be reserved by calling 701-356-2050. This is a fundraising event and does require the purchase of the entire dinner theatre package.
