Hill named Exchange Club student of month
Beatrice Hill, a senior at West Fargo High School, has been named the West Fargo Exchange Club Student of the Month for January. She maintains a 3.98 grade point average. Her parents are Stephen Hill and Jane DuBord-Hill.
As a student at West Fargo schools, Hill has been active in a number of areas including: speech, six years, vice president for three years; Student Congress, three years; National Honor Society, two years; historian of the Art Club, one year; Jazz Ensemble, two years; PAC, Book Club, and Jazz Band, all one year; 2007 National Speech Team participant; 2008 National Student Congress Team participant; 2009 qualifier for the National Student Congress Team; All State Speech Team, three years; Girls State delegate; vice president of the senior class; academic letter and fine arts letter, four years each; Poetry Out Loud participant, second place at state competition; outstanding distinction in the National Forensic League and high placement at state speech and student congress tournaments.
Hill has also been active in: Reflections of Christ Youth Group for six years; Church Brass Ensemble, five years; Big Brother/Big Sister Program, two years; MeritCare Youth Medical Experience, one year; and Youth to Leadership, one year;
Hill plans on attending the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.
