Hockey falls to Grafton, Red River

The Packers Boys' Hockey has been having a harder stretch than their female counterparts, dropping both games last week - first to the Grafton/Park River Spoilers 5-4 on Tuesday, then to the Grand Forks-Red River Roughriders 6-2 on Saturday.

The Packers were led on Tuesday by junior forward C.J. Lenzmeier, who had a goal and an assist.

Lenzmeier and senior Shawn Fladland scored the only goals for the Packers on Saturday, with assists coming from freshman Kody Coles and senior Brett Lessard.

The team travels to Devils Lake on Saturday afternoon to face the Firebirds, then heads to Davies on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. game.
