WEST FARGO - The rash of burglaries and car prowling continues in West Fargo, with police saying they've had 21 reports since Friday morning.
Mike Reitan, the assistant West Fargo police chief, said the latest group of burglaries - with the exception of one - fits the pattern as earlier ones.
Most of the victims are residents in the Charleswood and Tintes neighborhoods.
Reitan said he believes most of them are connected.
The string of crimes is frustrating, he said, and residents are advised to lock their doors on both homes and cars.
In addition, Reitan encourages anyone who sees something suspicious to call police immediately and give them a better chance to solve the crimes.
Police said there have been more than 40 break-ins in the Charleswood and Tintes areas since April.
The public is asked to call (701) 433-5500 if they have any information about the crimes.
