Home Builders Care Charity Ride set for August 18
Get your motorcycle, classic car, hot rod, street rod or cruiser ready for a beautiful drive through western Minnesota lakes country during the ninth annual Home Builders Care Charity Ride Aug. 18. Proceeds will benefit the Home Builders Care Build for Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead, 1802 32nd Ave. S., Fargo, and riders depart at 10 a.m. A second starting point is located at E.L. Peterson Park shelter in Pelican Rapids, Minn. Registration in Pelican Rapids starts at 11 a.m. and the ride continues at 11:30 a.m. The cost to ride is $20 per motorcycle or car and $5 per passenger.
A late lunch prepared by Nodak Stores and provided by Hornbacher's will be included on the ride. We will be stopping for an ice cream break again this year, compliments of Dippin' Dots. The ride is organized by the Fargo Motor Patrol and Charity Ride committee.
