Take your motorcycle, classic vehicle, hot rod, street rod or cruiser on a tour through lakes country during the sixth annual Home Builders Care Charity Ride Aug. 22.
There will be two starting points: 10:30 a.m. at University Motors in Fargo or noon at Lakeland General Store & Cornfield Cafe in Dunvilla, Minn. Stops will be made along the way, with the run ending at approximately 5 p.m. at the Cormorant Pub in Cormorant, Minn. Supper will be provided. Cost for a single rider is $15 and a couple is $20. The proceeds will benefit Home Builders Care of Fargo-Moorhead Foundation, a charitable arm of the Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead.

Home Builders Care funds are earmarked for skill training, education and projects related to the housing industry. Its goals are to promote, organize and coordinate the community outreach efforts of the home building industry.
HBC has provided more than $127,000 in scholarship money to area universities, technical schools and high school students over the past several years.
