Horace hosts annual fall festival

The annual Horace Fall Festival will take place Saturday, Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Horace Senior Center.

Featured will be 19 artists, crafters, and vendors including: Connie Bruse, Bracken Rourke, Sharon Jons, Joy's Jazz, Close To My Heart, Norwex, Wildtree, Tupperware, Avon, Miche, Thirty One, Scentsy, Pampered Chef, Tracey's Scarves, Paparazzi's Jewelry, Lucy's Dining Decor, Donna and Deanna's Crafts, Penny's Wool Mittens, and Lia Sophia.

Most of the participants are from the Horace, Hickson, West Fargo,and Christine area. The Horace Girl Scouts will be serving lunch for $5 a meal.

Organizers are looking forward to this exciting Fall event in Horace. A prior show they promoted in February was so well received they had to move to a bigger venue so they encouraging everyone to come on out to Horace and check out the action.

Another upcoming event is the 15th Annual Holiday Boutique, on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2 and 3 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. offered by Connie Bruse, Maria Miles and Wild Tree (organic foods). The boutique will be held at the Bruse farm. Those attending should take I-94 Sheyenne (Horace exit) south to 64th Avenue South, turn right (west) go two miles (mostly gravel), then turn right and enter first farm on left. Signs will be posted.

The 31st Annual Prairie Boutique is also scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Living Waters Church, 4451 40th Ave. S., in Osgood, Fargo.

A variety of artists and crafters will be represented. The event is open to everyone. Lunch will be available for purchase.
