Horace hosts successful blood drive
A total of 26 people volunteered to donate blood, and 20 were able to give during Horace's Nov. 15 blood drive. Two people gave blood on the automated 2RBC machine which collects two units of red blood cells during the donation, so a total of 22 products were collected.
Keith Zeutschel and Roger Rustad co-coordinated the drive. Ann Bakken assisted the day of the drive. Space to hold the drive was provided at the Senior Citizen's Center.
Donations will help meet the blood needs of many patients in 71 area hospitals served by United Blood Services.
