Janyce Marilyn (Chase) Wulff, 77, daughter of Mabel and Henry Chase, Fargo, formerly Leonard, N.D., passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Sanford Health, Fargo, surrounded by family.
Janyce was born New Years Day1934, in Aliceton Township near Lisbon, N.D. She attended high school in Lisbon while rooming with her lifetime best friend, Janice Rustad and Herma Radetzke. She worked for the Lisbon telephone company until she met her husband, Hank Wulff. In 1955, they were married and settled in Leonard. Janyce raised three children while doing the bookkeeping for the family plumbing business and the NFO Stockyards in Leonard. Janyce enjoyed gardening, spending time at their lake place, and spending time with friends and family.
Janyce is survived by her husband, Henry Wulff, Fargo; children, Cindy Wulff, Fargo, Cheryl (Dave) Albrecht, St. Louis Park, Minn., and Denise (Joel) Stangler, Fargo; grandchildren, Dustin Stangler, Fargo, and Katrina and Henry Albrect, St. Louis Park, Minn.; brother, Lloyd (Evelyn) Chase, Lawton, Okla., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Evenger, who passed two weeks prior to Janyce and her parents, Henry and Mabel.
Visitation was held Monday, May 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 in West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
The Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, May 31, at 10:30 a.m., in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, West Fargo.
Burial was in the Leonard Cemetery, Leonard.
