Choice Financial's Junior Bank Board members learn a lot about money at their monthly meetings, but what really makes a difference is what they do with their money. The funds Junior Bank Board members earned by attending their meetings were recently donated to the Dollars for Scholars program. Through their donation totaling $850, the Junior Bank Board members made a positive impact in their community.
Members of the Junior Bank Board also recently traveled to Fargo for their annual trip. The group, consisting of 45 juniors and seniors from various Choice Financial locations, toured Microsoft and enjoyed pizza and bowling.
The Junior Bank Board (JBB) is a program Choice Financial offers to students who are seeking the opportunity to learn about businesses and the role they play within the economy and community. The Junior Bank Board program facilitates bonds between students and community members, as well as with their peers. By participating in the JBB, students learn and develop the attributes that future employers are looking for in prospective employees including responsibility, leadership, financial knowledge, ability to work well in groups and a positive attitude.
