Kenneth R. Karch passed away on June 24, 2011 due to a massive heart attack. Per his wishes, there will be no funeral service.
Kenny was born June 8, 1932 in Rosalie, Neb. to Warren and Blanche Karch. He worked as a truck driver for many years before moving to West Fargo. He married Barbara Bentz in Omaha, Neb. and they had two daughters, Leah and Renee. His marriage to Lila Botts in Omaha, gave him a son, Jesse. He worked for Quality Meats & Seafood for many years, retiring after 32 years. He married Irene Jacobson in 1987 and upon his retirement, they moved to Pick City, N.D. He was very active in Pick City, serving on the city council and later as mayor. He was an active golfer and avid craftsman, producing many wood working projects for his home and family.
He is survived by his wife, Irene of Pick City; daughters Leah Peck, of Sequim, Wash., and Renee (James) Cool of Bellevue, Neb.; son Jesse Karch of Bellevue, Neb.; step-children Carmon (Duane) Roy, Carrie Wetzstein, Charene Vogel and Steven Wetzstein; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
