Kimmer Road closed in Grant Valley Township

Grant Valley Township is in the process of road construction, effective through Monday evening. Kimmur Road Southwest, located between Fern Lake Road Southeast and Buchanan Avenue Southwest, south of Adams Avenue Southwest, will be closed to traffic at a location just west of Buchanan Ave Southwest (just west of 3646 Kimmur Road Southwest).
Motorists are urged to use caution and follow detour signs, according to a news release from the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office Department of Emergency Management. Emergency responders will need to go around to Fern Lake Road in order to access any residences on the west end of Kimmur Road Southwest.
