Knights of Columbus free throw contest set
The West Fargo Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring their 20th annual Basketball Free Throw Championship contest on Thursday, Jan. 13, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the West Fargo South Elementary School gym, 117 6th Ave. W. Those attending are asked to use the southwest entrance to the school.
Registration will start at 6 p.m. and the contest will begin at 6:30 p.m. Basketballs will be furnished but those participating may take their own. There is no charge to participate in this event; however, a parent or guardian needs to attend to sign the application.
All girls and boys in age groups 10-14, as of Jan. 1, 2011, are welcome to participate. Awards will be given to all first place winners and certificates of participation to all participants. Winners will advance to the District competition with the chance to move on to Regional, State and International competition.
