Knights of Columbus host free throw championship

The West Fargo Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring their annual basketball free throw contest for boys and girls ages 10-14 (as of Jan. 1, 2010), on Jan. 14, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at the West Fargo South Elementary School gym. Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the contest starting at 7 p.m. Basketballs will be furnished but participants may bring their own.

Awards will be presented to all first place winners and certificates of participation will be given to everyone participating. Winners will advance to the District competition, with the opportunity to move on to regional, state and international.

There is no fee, but those participating are asked to bring along a parent or guardian to sign the applications.
