Lake Agassiz Concert Band to present Fall concert
“Fargo-Moorhead’s Best Kept Secret,” the Lake Agassiz Concert Band will present their Fall Concert at West Fargo High School in the Theater on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 3 p.m.
Among the pieces on the program will be two popular travel pieces, “Italian in Algiers,” by Rossini, and “An American in Paris” by George Gershwin. Also on the program will be a large-scale symphony for band by Philip Sparke titled “Earth, Water, Sun, Wind.”
The concert is free and open to the public.
The Lake Agassiz Concert Band is directed by Dr. John Tesch, professor of Low Brass at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Support for the band is provided by the cities of Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead through the Arts Partnership.
