Letter to the Editor: Alves family grateful for benefit, fun run participation

The Ian Alves Family would like to thank all of you who contributed to or attended the Ian Alves Benefit and Fun Run on Oct. 29 and 30. We also appreciate all of the other activities that occurred over the month in support of our family. You have lifted us up during this difficult fight.

The magnitude of support from individuals, businesses, groups to churches is overwhelming. We would love to list you all by name but are afraid that we would forget someone. Each of you is important. The Red River Valley is truly a remarkable place to live.
