Letter to the Editor: Fargo needs diversion, will save time

Dear Editor:

I think a diversion should be made in Fargo as soon as possible. If Fargo would build one, the city would save a lot of time every year during the spring. They would not have to make millions of sand bags, nor would they have to buy out houses as well.

West Fargo doesn't really have a problem like Fargo deals with annually. The reason why is because it has a diversion that was funded and built to prevent this type of situation.

Overall, I think Fargo should make a diversion because it will save them a lot of time and energy each and every spring. The city just needs to decide if the expense is doable in order to eliminate future flooding.
