Email

The 575 members of the West Fargo Education Association would like to announce that November 12-16 is American Education Week. The West Fargo Education Association is highlighting the contribution of all those involved in striving for a quality education for our students. The association is focusing on the district's mission statement and celebrating the opportunity to "teach today's learner for tomorrow's world."

Educating our youth is a collaborative venture that includes the student, parents, administration, teachers, paraprofessionals, custodial staff, kitchen staff, and the transportation department, among others. All provide a vital piece of the strong foundation young people need as they progress toward their chosen careers.

Gift cards from Tutti Fruitti will be awarded in a drawing to recognize the efforts of those who contribute to the education of students. WFEA members will choose individuals who demonstrate the qualities of problem solving, contributing to society, being informed, and showing responsibility. The drawing will take place on Friday, November 16, the last day of American Education Week.

The association also encourages community members to join in the celebration by talking to children about the value of an education, or by recognizing the efforts of those working to provide a quality education for them.
