On behalf of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley staff and Board of Directors, we would like to extend a huge thank you to Divas and Rockstars in West Fargo.

In November, Divas and Rockstars held a "Singing with the Stars" competition to raise awareness and funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley. Over $700 was raised for the RMHC-RRV with the help from the following stars and singers:  Jay Thomas - WDAY-Radio (partner Jenn Landman), Sandy Buttweiler - KFGO Radio (partner Matt Dellamano), Christopher Gabriel - WDAY-Radio (partner Ansley Cameron), Kyle Matthews - FM 105 Radio (partner Jordan Ness), Bob Harris - KFGO Radio (partner Rich Kennedy),  Steve Poitras - Valley News Live (partner Susan Murphy),  Hutch Johnson - Valley News Live (partner Brad Meduna), Chris Obarski - KVRR-TV, Fox News (partner Cassandra Bren), and Candace Thornberg - KVRR-TV, Fox News (partner Jake Ellingson).

In addition, we would like to say a special thank you to the entire staff of Divas and Rockstars, specifically, those who helped plan and coordinate the competition and to Jill Carlson for all her hard work.  Because of great events like "Singing with the Stars" and the tremendous efforts from businesses, like Divas and Rockstars, the Ronald McDonald House families are able to concentrate on being with their family in times when being with family matters most.

Last year, over 1200 family members used the services of the Ronald McDonald House in Fargo. Families who stay at the RMH are asked to pay $15 per night; however, no family is turned away due to the inability to pay. Actual cost to operate the RMH is approximately $85 per night.

Thank you again to Divas and Rockstars, all the participants, donors, volunteers, judges, and supporters. We truly appreciate your dedication and support.
