Library News (April 16)
Bunny Hop: 10:30 a.m., Today. Preschoolers and their caretakers are invited to a Bunny Hop & Pop! Packing poppers will be on the floor, music will be playing and children can join a fun project. Light refreshments will be provided for the “little hoppers”.
Board Games and LEGOs: 7 p.m. on Thursday. Free, fun and popcorn. No registration required. Open to all ages.
Fun with Food- Farmers Market: 10:15 a.m., April 21. A program geared for preschoolers and with their caretakers. It includes story time, activities and a healthy snack. It is part of the Family Nutrition Program by NDSU Extension Service. Registration required.
West Fargo: Looking Back, Looking Forward: This exhibit features an illustrated timeline of the history of West Fargo and includes a few peeks at what lies ahead. Visit the exhibit on the upper level of the library during regular hours.
Genealogy: Noon to 4 p.m., April 19. Bring projects or just ask questions.
Tech Class- Intro to iPads: 6:30 p.m. on April 21. Learn how to navigate, connect to the Internet and features of an iPad. Bring your own iPad or use a library iPad for the class. Class sizes are small. Registration is required.
Creative Corner: 12:30 to 1 p.m., April 23. Simple crafts for all adults. No registration is required.
Knitty Giddy: 6:30 p.m., April 22. New and experienced crafters are welcome. Please bring supplies.
Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m., April 22. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers. The session is just stories, no crafts. For simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays or at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays.
Story time: Story times for children preschool through first grade and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead to 433-5460.

Ish-Ka-Bibble Crafts: 3:30 p.m., April 25. Stop in and create a craft project. Open to all ages and no registration is required.
Saturday Flicks: Saving Mr. Banks: 2 p.m., April 26. A behind the scenes glance at how one of the biggest directors fought to prove his company could handle P.L. Traver’s famous book, “Mary Poppins.” (125 minutes, PG-13)
Special Movie Event - 42 – The Jackie Robinson Story: 7 p.m., April 27. Free viewing and popcorn event in conjunction with the YWCA Stand Against Racism event.
Announcements: The library will be closed on April 18 and 20.
The Homework Center is closed on days when the schools are closed, including vacations and snow days.
