Special Event:

Special Storytime with Curious George: Thursday, April 26, 6:30 to 7 p.m. A "Meet and Greet" with the character Curious George along with a delightful story. Caretakers must remain with small children. Don't forget your camera.

Regular Events:

Tech Night:  Pandora Radio and Hulu: Thursday, April 26, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Find free and legal music and movies online. Pandora is a free, personalized internet radio site that lets you find and listen to music based on what you enjoy. If you like music and spend a lot of time at a computer, you don't want to be without Pandora. Hulu makes free online episodes of many television shows available. If you have a high speed internet connection and like radio or TV, Pandora and Hulu are for you. Classes are free. Registration is required. Register by calling the library at 701-433-5460 or stopping by. Class sizes are small. Register early.

Genealogy: Saturday, April 28, 12 to 4 p.m. Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help explore family histories. Take your projects or just ask questions.

Knitty Giddy Group: Tuesday, May 1, 6:30 p.m. Adults are invited to join this fun group of knitters and crocheters. Come with your own supplies. New and experienced crafters are welcome. You will receive help getting started. New knitters should bring size 8 or 10 needles and yarn. Those interested in crochet should bring a crochet hook and yarn.

Simply Stories: Tuesday, May 1, 10 a.m. Take your little ones to the library and enjoy two stories. Unlike regular storytimes, this program is just stories - no crafts.  If you're looking for stories and crafts, visit the library Tuesdays at 1:30 or Thursdays at 6:30.

Storytime: Thursday, April 26, 6:30 to 7 p.m., Special Storytime with Curious George; Tuesday, May 1, 1:30 to 2 p.m., If I Had a Dragon; Thursday, May 3, 6:30 to 7 p.m. Hush, Little Dragon. You are invited to listen to stories and help your child(ren) with a simple make-and-take project.  This program is geared for young children.   Don't underestimate the power of one-half hour of time with your child. Daycares are welcome, but call ahead (701-433-5460) so there are enough supplies. Caretaker must remain with child

Friday Movie: April 27, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., "Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs." A bucket full of toy dinosaurs, a little boy and adventures in a magical land. What better way to spend 55 minutes of fun? Free popcorn too. Rated (E)

Upcoming Events:

Plant a Bonnet: Monday, May 7, 2 p.m. The library provides bonnet, soil, flowers, and instruction to create these Spring Bonnet planters. Participants should bring one cool whip container (plastic container) and a 12 inch plate.

All About Birding: Monday, May 14, 7 p.m. Experience the journey to a lifelong hobby of bird watching. Keith Corliss, avid bird watcher and volunteer instructor for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, will introduce you to this fun hobby. Delightful photos and information presented.

The library is located at 109 3rd St. E. in the Lodoen Community Center.
