Creative Corner: Wednesday, Dec. 11, 12:30 p.m. Explore your creative side and enrich your afternoon. Make a simple craft at the library. This program is open to all adults and no registration is required.

Ham Radio Operators (RRRA): Wednesday, Dec. 11, 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. Open to all adults interested in learning about ham radio operating.

Tech Class - Plan a Winter Getaway Online: Monday, Dec. 16, 6:30 p.m. Tired of the Winter? If you are curious how the plane, car rental and hotel deals work online, this is a safe and easy way to explore. Discover possible vacation sites, how to make reservations online and to check for the best prices to put together your personal package deal. Register for this class by calling the library at 701-433-5460 or register in person at the library’s service desk.

Genealogy: Saturday, Dec. 14, 12 to 4 p. m. Are you ready to explore your family’s history? Receive help. Take your projects or just ask questions.

Knitty Giddy Group: Tuesday, Dec. 17, 6:30 p.m. Do you like to crochet or knit? This adult group invites adults to join them anytime. Take your own supplies. Lots of help for new crafters and those who need a refresher.

Friday Morning Movie – Little Drummer Boy: Friday, Dec. 13, 10:30 a.m. A delightful holiday story about the most precious gift that can be offered, the special gift of ourselves and our talent. Rated E (25 minutes)

New Release Movie – Monsters University: Saturday, Dec. 14, 2 p. m. Family fun and popcorn too. Going to school for these scary creatures is quite a fun and exciting adventure. Rated (G)

Fun with Food: Monday, Dec. 16, 10:15 to 11 a.m. This fun program is geared for preschoolers with their caretakers. It includes stories, fun activities, and a healthy snack. This week’s theme: Healthy Snacks. It is part of the Family Nutrition Program by NDSU Extension Service. Preregister for this program.

Simply Stories: Tuesday, Dec. 17, 10:15 a.m. Take your little ones to the library and enjoy two stories. Geared for lap babies and preschoolers. Unlike regular storytimes, this program is just stories – no crafts. If you’re looking for stories and simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library Tuesdays at 1:30 or Thursdays at 6:30.

Storytime: Welcome to the wonderful world of stories and make-and-take crafts. Story times are geared for preschool through 1st grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but if your group is larger than 5, call ahead so there are enough crafting supplies. (701) 433-5460. Announcements: The Homework Center is closed on days when the schools are closed, including vacations and snow days. The Library will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25. Closings due to winter weather or other emergencies will be posted on our website and also on WDAY.

The library is located at 109 3rd St. E. in the Lodoen Community Center.
