Special Events:

Knitty Giddy - Teaching Session - Tuesday, February 18 at 6:30. Session 1 of 2. Learn to knit cotton dishcloths. Cotton for the knitting will be provided, please bring size 8 or 9 short knitting needles. Registration is appreciated but not required

West Fargo: Looking Back, Looking Forward - This exhibit features an illustrated timeline of the history of West Fargo and includes a few peeks at what lies ahead. Visit the exhibit (upper level of the Library) during Library hours.

Regular Events:

Creative Corner - Wednesday, February 12 at 12:30 to 1:00 PM. Explore your creative side and enrich your afternoon, making a simple craft at the library. This program is open to all adults and no registration is required.

Ham Radio Operators-RRRA - Wednesday, February 12 at 6:45 PM. Are you interested in preparing for Technician and General Licenses in Ham Radio Operating? Sessions are open to all adults and children (with attending adult) wanting to learn more about ham radio operating. Contact the library for further information. Phone: 701-433-5460

Genealogy - Saturday, February 15 at 12:00 to 4:00 PM. Are you ready to explore your family’s history? We’ll help! Bring your projects or just ask questions!

Video Gaming - Saturday, February 15 at 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Try out our new video games! Two hours of friend and family time, snacks included. Free and open to all ages.

Tech Class – Intro to Microsoft Word - Monday, February 17 at 6:30 PM. Get a basic introduction to Microsoft Word. Registration is required.

Friday Morning Movie – Be My Valentine Charlie Brown - Friday, February 14 at 10:30 AM. The good times begin with a certain big-nosed beagle playing Cupid and don’t stop until Charlie Brown opens his mailbox one last, eager time. (GNR)

Simply Stories - Tuesday, February 18 at 10:15 AM. Bring your little ones to the library and enjoy two stories! This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers. Unlike our regular story times, this program is just stories – no crafts. If you’re looking for stories and simple make-and-take crafts, come to the library Tuesdays at 1:30 or Thursdays at 6:30.

Story time - Welcome to the wonderful world of stories & make-and-take crafts! Story times are geared for preschool through 1st grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but if your group is larger than 5, please call ahead so we have enough crafting supplies. (701) 433-5460

Fun with Food - Meet your Mighty Muscles - Monday, February 24 at 10:15. Fun nutrition program geared towards preschoolers. Story, craft and simple snack provided. Registration appreciated but not required

Saturday Flicks – Wreck-it Ralph - Friday, February 22 at 10:30 AM. For decades, Ralph has played the bad guy in his popular video game. In a bold move, he embarks on an action-packed adventure and sets out to prove to everyone that he is a true hero with a big heart. (PG)

Quilling - Thursday, February 27 at 6:30. Easy to follow instruction for this paper art. All supplies are provided. Registration is required.


Closings due to winter weather or other emergencies will be posted on our website and also on WDAY. The Homework Center is closed on days when the schools are closed, including vacations and snow days.
