Special Events:

Bag Sale: Saturday, Jan. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friends of the Library is holding a Bag Sale. Fill a bag with books and other items and pay $5 per bag (Friends of the Library members) or $7 per bag (non-members). Non-members can join at the door and take advantage of the special members only pricing for the sale!

Super Size Yahtzee: Thursday, Jan. 19, from 7 to 8 p.m. Join us for Super-Size Yahtzee (played with super sized dice for super sized fun!). Open to all ages!

Hop 'N' Pop: Wednesday, Jan. 25, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Hop & pop to music.  Lots of action, plenty of popping!  Light snack, too!

Regular Events:

Technology Thursday: Navigating and Organizing Your Computer: Thursday, Jan. 19, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Turn an organized mess into a logical, easy to navigate filing system.  In this class, we will be learning where files are stored along with different ways to create folders, name and re-name objects while arranging documents on your computer.

Genealogy: Saturday, Jan. 21, from noon to 4 p.m. Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help you explore your family's history.  Bring your projects or just ask questions! 

Knitty Giddy: Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 6:30 p.m. You are invited to join our knitting group.  If you are an experienced knitter, bring along your projects and knit with us; if you are a new knitter, bring your size 8 to size 10 needles and a skein of yarn and we will help you get started.  We meet at 6:30 on Tuesdays.  It is a fun relaxed, group.

Ham Radio Group: Wednesday, Jan. 18, from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. This group is open to adults interested in learning about ham radio.

Simply Stories: Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 10 a.m. Unlike our regular story times, this program is just stories, no crafts.  If you're looking for stories and crafts, come to the Library on Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. or Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

Story time: Welcome to story time!  Our story times include stories, songs, projects, and other activities. Thursday, Jan. 19, at 6:30 p.m. - Sleep, Bear, Sleep; Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 1:30 p.m. - The Red Sled; Thursday, Jan. 26, at 6:30 p.m. - Ten on a Sled.

Friday Morning Movie - Snow Buddies: Friday, Jan. 20, at 10:30 a.m. Cute and cuddly puppies find themselves in Alaska where they meet new friends and compete in a sled race.  (Rated G, 87 min)
