Technology Thursday: Introduction to the Online World: Jan. 26, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Are you nervous about surfing the web? Find it challenging to locate useful and trustworthy information online? Don't be. In this class, you will learn the essentials required to cruise the net with confidence and use search engines like a pro. Please sign up at the Service Desk or call 433-5460.

Genealogy: Saturday, Jan. 28, noon to 4 p.m. Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help you explore your family's history. Bring your projects or just ask questions.

Knitty Giddy: Tuesday, Jan. 31, 6:30 p.m. You are invited to join our knitting group. If you are an experienced knitter, bring along your projects and knit with us; if you are a new knitter, bring your size 8 to size 10 needles and a skein of yarn and we will help you get started. We meet at 6:30 on Tuesdays. It is a fun, relaxed group - join us.

Sunday Video Games: Jan. 29, 2 p.m. Try your skills at Kinect Sports or Mario Cart Racing.

Simply Stories: Tuesday, Jan. 31, 10 a.m. Bring your little ones to the library and enjoy two stories. Unlike our regular storytimes, this program is just stories - no crafts.

Storytime: Welcome to storytime. This year, our storytimes will include stories, songs, projects, and other activities, as well as pop to music. Lots of action, plenty of popping. Light snack, too.

Friday Morning Movie (The Snowman): Friday, Jan. 27, 10:30 a.m. Based on Raymond Briggs' classic children's book, a young child's snowman comes to life and they visit the North Pole. (Rated E, 30 min.)

New Movie Saturday (Cars 2): Saturday, Jan. 28, 2 p.m. Race cars Lightning McQueen and Mater journey to compete in the biggest race on the planet. Listen for famous voices from Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy. (Rated G, 1 hr 46 min)

'I Do' Share a Wedding Story: Monday, Feb. 13, 7 to 8 p.m. Bring and share pictures or items from your personal, family, or friends weddings. Join us for an evening of sharing during February - the month of hearts. Coffee and tea will be provided. Open to adults, teens, and children.
