Special Events

Winging it is not an option – Red Cross presentation:

6:30 p.m. Thursday. The Red Cross will demonstrate how to put together a survival kit and necessities for different emergencies.

Summer Reading Program Event – Closing Celebration:

2 p.m. Saturday. A special event to commemorate the end of the summer reading program with prizes, games, twisted balloons and refreshments. The event is free and open to all.

Garden Club: 10:15 a.m. Today. The garden is part of a program presented by Nikki Johnson with the Youth Nutrition program, NDSU-Cass County Office.

Regular Events

West Fargo: Looking Back, Looking Forward: An exhibit features an illustrated timeline of the history of West Fargo and includes a few peeks at what lies ahead. Visit the exhibit (upper level of the Library) during Library hours.

Genealogy: Noon and 4 p.m. Saturday. Bring projects or just ask questions.

Knitty Giddy: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. New and experienced crafters are welcome. Bring supplies.

Friday Morning Movie:

10:30 a.m. Friday. “Smurfs 2” (PG, 118 minutes)

Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday and 12:30 p.m. July 31. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers and is just stories – no crafts. For stories and simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Summer reading program registration is not required.

Story time - The Hungry Caterpillar: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Story times are geared for preschool through first grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead to (701) 433-5460. Summer Reading Program registration is not required.


The Library is now on summer schedule and will be closed on Sundays.
