Special Events:

"I Spy:" Wednesday, March 21, 11 to 11:30 a.m. Decorate a spy glass and enjoy music from other lands. Geared for preschool through 1st grade. Caretakers must remain with child.

National Goof Off Day: Thursday, March 22, 7 to 8 p.m. Paint and decorate a personal treasure chest. Open to all ages.

Closing Celebration "Hot Pizza Party" (Carry Out a Good Book): Friday, March 23, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Registered participants in the Winter Reading Program are invited to a "Hot Pizza Party."

Regular Events:

Technology Thursday: Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Thursday, March 22, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Learn even more about Microsoft Excel in this advanced class, including how to insert graphs and use multiple tables and forms. Sign up at the service desk or call 433-5460.

Genealogy: Saturday, March 24, 12 to 4 p.m. Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help explore family histories. Take your projects or just ask questions.

Knitty Giddy: Tuesday, March 27, 6:30 p.m. If you are an experienced knitter, take along your projects and knit; if you are a new knitter, take your size 8 to size 10 needles and a skein of yarn and you will receive help getting started.  Fun, relaxed group.

Ham Radio Group: Wednesday, March 21, 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. Open to adults interested in learning about ham radio.

Sunday Video Games: March 25, 2 p.m. Try your skills at Kinect Sports or Mario Cart Racing. Open to all ages.

Simply Stories: Tuesday, March 27, 10 a.m. Take your little ones to the library and enjoy two stories. Unlike regular story times, this program is just stories - no crafts.  If you're looking for stories and crafts, visit the library Tuesdays at 1:30 or Thursdays at 6:30.

Story time: Includes stories, songs, projects, and other activities. Thursday, March 22, 6:30 p.m. "And the Dish Ran Away with the Spoon;" Tuesday, March 27, 1:30 p.m., "Friends;" Thursday, March 29, 6:30 p.m., "Cowgirls & Cowboys."

Friday Morning Movie: March 23, 10:30 a.m., "The Best of Dr. Seuss." Enjoy three Dr. Seuss tales, including "Horton Hatches the Egg."  (Rated E)

New Movie Saturday: March 24, 2 p.m. "Kung Fu Panda 2." Po and The Furious Five join forces to protect the Valley of Peace. Listen for famous voices from Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, and Dustin Hoffman.  (Rated PG)

Upcoming Events:

Early Garden Workshop: Thursday, March 29, 7 to 8 p.m. In this hands-on workshop you'll get your garden started.  All supplies provided. Sign up at the service desk or call 433-5460.

Bunny Hop: Wednesday, April 4, 11 to 11:30 a.m. Join for a Bunny Hop & Pop. Packing poppers will be on the floor, music will be playing and children are invited to bunny hop and pop to the music. The first 20 receive a free fluffy toy bunny. Registration appreciated. Geared for 8 and under and caretakers must remain with child.
