Special Events:

Early Garden Workshop: Thursday, March 29, at 7-8 p.m. - In this hands-on workshop you'll get your garden started. All supplies provided. Please sign up in advance at the Service Desk or call 433-5460.


Bunny Hop: Wednesday, April 4, at 11-11:30 a.m. - Join us for a Bunny Hop & Pop. Packing poppers will be on the floor, music will be playing, and children are invited to bunny hop & pop to the music. The first 20 receive a free fluffy bunny. Registration Appreciated. Geared for children age 8 and younger, and caretakers must remain with child.

Regular Events:

Genealogy: Saturday, March 31, at noon-4 p.m. - Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help you explore your family's history. Bring your projects or just ask questions.

Knitty Giddy Group: Tuesday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m. - Adults are invited to join this fun group for an evening of knitting and crochet. New and experienced knitters are welcome. Come with your own supplies. We'll provide lots of help to get beginners started. New knitters should bring size 8 or 10 needles and yarn. If you're interested in learning to crochet, bring crochet hook and yarn.

Simply Stories: Tuesday, April 3, at 10 a.m. - Bring your little ones to the Library and enjoy two stories. Unlike our regular storytimes, this program is just stories - no crafts. If you're looking for stories and crafts, come to our regular Storytime on Tuesdays at 1:30 or Thursdays at 6:30.

Storytime: You are invited to listen to stories and help your child(ren) with a simple make-and-take project. This program is geared for young children. Don't underestimate the power of one half hour of time with your child. Daycares are welcome, but please call ahead (701-433-5460) so we have enough supplies. Caretaker must remain with child.

Friday Morning Movie - The Little Polar Bear: Friday, March 30, at 10:30 a.m. - Lars, a polar bear, befriends a seal named Robby. The two become close friends regardless of where they come from. This animated film is based on books by Hans de Beer. (Rated G)Announcements:

Holiday closings: The library will be closed on Friday, April 6 and Sunday, April 8, but will be open regular hours (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) on Saturday, April 7.

National Library Week & Fine Amnesty: National Library Week is April 8-14. In Celebration of National Library Week, we encourage you to return all overdue library items. No late fees will be charged on items returned that week. This offer is only for items turned in during April 8th through April 14th. It does not clear old fines.
