All About Birding: Monday, May 14, at 7 p.m.: Experience the journey to a lifelong hobby of bird watching. Keith Corliss, avid bird watcher and volunteer instructor for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department will introduce you to this fun hobby. Delightful photos and information presented.
Tech Thursday: Introduction to Facebook: Thursday, May 10, at 6:30 p.m.: Facebook is an extremely popular social media website that can link you to friends and family. Learn how to set up an account and start networking online. If you want, we will even take a digital photo that can be used in your Facebook profile. Class sizes are small, so please pre-register at the library service desk or by calling the library at 701-433-5460.
Genealogy: Saturday, May 12, from noon to 4 p.m.: Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help you explore your family's history. Bring your projects or just ask questions.
Knitty Giddy Group: Tuesday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m.: Adults are invited to join this fun group of knitters and crocheters. New and experienced crafters are welcome. Come with your own supplies - we'll give lots of help to get beginners started. New knitters bring size 8 or 10 needles and yarn. If you're interested in learning to crochet, bring crochet hook and yarn.
Simply Stories: Tuesday, May 15, at 10 a.m.: Bring your little ones to the Library and enjoy two stories. Unlike our regular storytime, this program is just stories - no crafts. If you're looking for stories and crafts, come to the Library Tuesdays at 1:30 or Thursdays at 6:30.
Storytime: You are invited to listen to stories and help your child(ren) with a simple make-and-take project. This program is geared for young children. Don't underestimate the power of one half hour of time with your child.

Friday Morning Movies: Shapes and Sizes: Friday, May 11, at 10:30 a.m.: Come and enjoy circles, squares, stars big and little, and lots of learning fun. (Rated E, 30 minutes)
iTunes & MP3 players: Thursday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m.: Dive into the world of digital music. Use a computer to create a free iTunes account, rip music from a CD to a computer, and transfer it to an iPod. Watch and learn how it is done, or bring your own laptop, iPod, and CD if you want to get hands-on practice.
Special Storytime with Arthur: Thursday, May 24, at 6:30 p.m.: A special visitor will be at the library for storytime. Meet and greet Arthur. Remember to bring your camera to snap a photo with this favorite character. This is open to kids of all ages.
