4th Annual Caramel Apple Day, Friday, Nov. 18, 4 to 5 p.m. What could be better than a delicious apple dipped in warm caramel and rolled in your choice of toppings? Free, while supplies last.
Board Games Galore: Thursday, Nov. 17, 7 to 8 p.m. Try your hand at a variety of board games or Legos and enjoy some popcorn. Free and fun for the whole family.
Technology Thursday: Picasa/Google Photos, Thursday, Nov. 17, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Not sure what to do with all those pictures stored on your digital camera (or phone)? Discover how to transfer pictures from the camera to the computer, edit using Picasa (a free software program), save and share with others. Register at the service desk or call 433-5460.
Genealogy: Saturday, Nov. 19, 12 to 4 p.m. Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help explore family histories. Take your projects or just ask questions.
Knitty Giddy: Tuesday, Nov. 22, 6:30 p.m. If you are an experienced knitter, take along your projects and knit; if you are a new knitter, take your size 8 to size 10 needles and a skein of yarn and you will receive help getting started. Fun, relaxed group.
Ham Radio Group: Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. Open to adults interested in learning about ham radio.
Simply Stories: Tuesday, Nov. 22, 10 a.m. Take your little ones to the library and enjoy two stories. Unlike regular storytimes, this program is just stories, no crafts. If you're looking for stories and crafts, visit the library Tuesdays at 1:30 or Thursdays at 6:30.

Friday Morning Movie: Nov. 18, 10:30 a.m., "A Rugrats Thanksgiving." In this animated film, youngsters learn the real meaning of Thanksgiving. (Rated G, 47 min)
New Movie Saturday: Nov. 19, 2 p.m., "Gnomeo and Juliet." In a new twist on the classic Romeo & Juliet story, two star-crossed garden-gnomes must overcome their feuding families in this animated film. Listen for famous voices from James McAvoy, Emily Blunt, Patrick Stewart, and Michael Caine. (Rated G, 1 hr 24 min)
"Young at Heart" Senior Program: Movie "True Grit," Wednesday, Nov. 23, 1 p.m. Enjoy a re-make of a classic western, starring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon. (Rated PG-13, 110 min)
Santa Visits: Sunday, Dec. 4, 2 to 4 p.m. Enjoy a story, create a craft, and visit with Santa. Parents, don't forget your camera to capture the fun.
3rd Annual Holiday Cookie Exchange: Monday, Dec. 5, 6:30 to 8 p.m. This is a fun way to exchange cookies and candies. Take three dozen of your holiday treats (in a disposable pan) and exchange them for three dozen other holiday treats. Open to all ages.
Announcements: The library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving); and the Homework Center will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 23.
