4th Annual Caramel Apple Day: Friday, Nov. 18, 4-5 p.m. What could be better than a delicious apple dipped in warm caramel and rolled in your choice of toppings?  Join us for our 4th Annual Caramel Apple Day.  Free - While supplies last!

Regular Events:

Technology Thursday: iTunes: Thursday, Nov. 10, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Dive into the world of digital music.  Use a computer to create a free iTunes account, rip music from a CD to a computer, and transfer it to an iPod.  Watch and learn how it is done, or bring your own laptop, iPod, and CD if you want to get hands on practice.

Genealogy: Saturday, Nov. 12, noon-4 p.m. Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help you explore your family's history.  Bring your projects or just ask questions.

Knitty Giddy: Tuesday, Nov. 15, 6:30 p.m. You are invited to join our knitting group.  If you are an experienced knitter, bring along your projects and knit with us; if you are a new knitter, bring your size 8 to size 10 needles and a skein of yarn and we will help you get started.  We meet at 6:30 on Tuesdays.  It is a fun, relaxed group - Join us!

"Young at Heart" Senior Program: Picture Frames: Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. Paint and decoupage a picture frame.  You can bring your own picture.  All supplies provided. Makes a great gift!

Ham Radio Group: Wednesday, Nov. 9, 6:45-8:45 p.m. This group is open to adults interested in learning about ham radio.

Sunday Video Games: Nov. 13, 2-4 p.m. Join us for Wii, Guitar Hero and more.  Free and open to all - join us for a Sunday afternoon of fun!  Families are welcome!

Simply Stories: Tuesday, Nov. 15, 10 a.m. Bring your little ones to the Library and enjoy two stories! Unlike our regular story times, this program is just stories; no crafts.  If you're looking for stories and crafts, come to the Library Tuesdays at 1:30 or Thursdays at 6:30.

Storytime: Thursday, Nov. 10, 6:30 p.m. - Yankee Doodle; Tuesday, Nov. 15, 1:30 p.m. - Giant Machines; Thursday, Nov. 17, at 6:30 p.m. - Friends.


Holiday Closing: The Library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day.

Student Art: Student art by Eastwood Elementary students is now on display in the Children's Corner.  Come and see some excellent art work from West Fargo's budding artists.

Reminder:  Are you looking for a place to meet with your friend after school to do homework and that outside reading?  The Homework Center at the Library may be just the place for you! Come  alone or with friends, bring your books, homework and projects and get an after-school snack.  It's free, it's easy and it's supervised.  We don't offer one-on-one tutoring but we can help with your assignments. Free, easy and open to grades 1-8. The Homework Center at the Library is open on schooldays, Monday through Thursday, from 3-5:30 p.m.
