The Cass County 4-H Consumer Choices Senior Judging Team represented North Dakota at the 2014 National 4-H Decision Making Event in Denver, January 9-12, 2014

Members of the team were: Colton Christmann, Kindred; Kelsey Marschke, Alice, Zach Gebeke, Arthur and Ashley Stoppleworth, Horace. The team was coached by Rita Ussatis, Extension Agent.

Consumer Choices Judging, a 4-H consumer activity, is an exercise in decision making. It involves ranking in four items in each of six classes. Classes included in this national event were: televisions, toys, luggage, cleaning products, jeans ,breakfast cereal and the group process was produce.

Consumer Choices is one of many educational events sponsored through the 4-H program. 4-H is the youth education program of the NDSU Extension Service and is conducted by volunteer leaders.
