Mary B. Larson, 77, Tower City, N.D., died on Sat. June 4, 2011, in the Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City, N.D.
Mary Bell Coyne was born on Oct. 12, 1933 in rural Velva, N.D. to John and Lillian (Fort) Coyne. She grew up and attended school until second grade in Velva. Mary then moved to Minnesota for two years, after which time she moved to West Fargo, where she graduated from high school. During her high school years, Mary worked for the Hotel Donaldson and also the State Bank of West Fargo. She married Robert Larson on Feb. 14, 1952 in Dilworth, Minn. Mary later worked for Cargil of Buffalo and finally for NDSU of Fargo, retiring in 1998. She also helped many area families over the years, when they had a need. Mary had a great love for her gardens, raising many flowers in them. She also enjoyed quilting, camping and fishing.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Tim and four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, Tower City; sons, Trent, Buffalo, N.D. and Todd, Tower City; daughters, Toni Larson, Strasburg, N.D. and Tracy Larson, Tower City; grandchildren, John Stringer, Lora Stringer-Keller, Michelle Brendmoen, Kayla Larson, Adam Houn, Jessica Hill, Charles Stowman, Jayme Bucklin and Robert Larson; great-grandchildren, Kali
Anderson, Krysten Stringer, Jonathan Keller, William Keller, Josephine Keller, Deven Anderson, Madeleine Hill, Sam Hill, Reid Hill, Oliveah Stowman, Allegra Stowman and Cashton Stowman.
Visitation: One hour before the service in the church on Thursday, June 9. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Buffalo Lutheran Church, Buffalo.
Burial will be in the Buffalo Cemetery.
