Maurices to hold clothing drive to benefit YWCA
Maurices at the West Gate Commons, 1500 13th Ave. E., West Fargo, is holding a clothing drive to benefit the YWCA.
"There are several great events we participate in with other maurices stores across the nation each year, such as the holiday plush sale to benefit the American Cancer Society," said store manager Stacey Haecherl. "But it's also a real privilege to step up and literally help our neighbors in need with this drive."
The clothing drive begins on July 11, and continues through July 17. Customers can drop off their donations anytime during store hours Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Items needed include women's/misses/juniors-summer clothing, kids clothing of all ages, (especially for boys). Those who donate will receive a coupon good for 20 percent off any one regular-priced maurices item for each donation, limited to ten per person.
Maurices offers clothing and accessories for fashion-savvy young women in sizes 1-17/18, giving them the trendiest looks at affordable prices. "We are proud to be a part of this community-one that's always so generous to others who are less fortunate," said Haecherl. "We invite customers to join us in this effort, and we look forward to giving them a little 'thank you' with an extra special deal on an item from maurices."
