Motorists asked to use caution

The Cass County Sheriff's Office has reported that two vehicles have gone off the roads into water filled ditches in Cass County within fifteen minutes of each other. The first vehicle was on 1-29 near the Horace exit at County Road 14. The second incident occurred on Cass County Highway 17 south of Horace. In both locations the occupants were able to get out of their vehicles safely.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has also reported a crash on State Highway 46 near Leonard due to slippery roads.

Drivers are asked to exercise extreme caution because of the slippery roads and water filled ditches.
