The Mystikix will hold tryouts in March for girls who will be in seventh or eighth grade for the 2010-11 school year.

An informational meeting for parents and dancers will be held Thursday, March 4, at 6 p.m. in the Cheney Middle School theatre.

Interested dancers must first try out for the team by attending three days of 4-7 p.m. practices at Cheney Middle School. Practice days are March 9, March 11, and March 12. Tryouts are March 13, from 1:30-5 p.m.

Dancers who make the cut are asked to meet for the team's first practice from 4-5 p.m. March 23, in the Cheney Middle School commons. A parent meeting follows the practice from 6-7 p.m.

The Mystikix are coached by Kristi Brager, who recently was named NDADD Coach of the Year. She earned the honor once before in 2008.

For questions regarding the Mystikix or for additional information, contact Brager after 4 p.m. at 799-5622.
