Mystikix win Fargo North Invite

The West Fargo Mystikix, a dance team of seventh- and eighth-graders from Cheney Middle School, took first place Dec. 4, in the junior high division at the Fargo North High School Invitational.

Second place went to the Fargo Fusion from Fargo's Discovery Middle School, while third place was won by the Ben Franklin Sparkettes, also from Fargo.

The Mystikix danced to a medley of songs from Lady Gaga. The team is coached by Kristi Brager and Kelli Clark.

The rankings for the Fargo North Invitational are as follows:

• Varsity Class A Jazz: First, West Fargo Packatahnas; second Davies High School Eagle Elite; third, Minot Majettes; fourth, Fargo North Spartacas; fifth, Dickenson Midgettes.

• Varsity Class A Pom: First, West Fargo Packatahnas; second, Davies High School Eagle Elite; third, Minot Majettes

• Varsity Class A Kick: First, West Fargo Packatahnas; second, Fargo North Spartacas; third, Moorhead Highlights; fourth, Minot Majettes

• Varsity Class A Hip-Hop: First, Fargo North Spartacas; second, Davies High School Eagle Elite; third, Valley City Hi-Lights; fourth, Dickenson Midgettes

• Varsity Class B Jazz: First, Frazee Flygirls; second, Center/Stanton Centations

• Varsity Class B Pom: First, Thompson Tomettes; second, Kindred Vikettes

• Varsity Class B Kick: First, Center/Stanton Centations; second, Frazee Flygirls

• Varsity Class B Hip-Hop: First, Kindred Vikettes

• Junior Varsity Jazz: First, West Fargo Packatahnas JV; second, Minot Majettes JV

• Junior Varsity Kick: First, West Fargo Packatahnas JV; second, Minot Majettes JV
