N.D. Tax Department extends filing deadline to April 18

Tax Commissioner Cory Fong has announced that North Dakota's individual income taxpayers have three extra days to file and pay their state income tax and still be considered on time.

"The IRS announced earlier that it was extending the due date from April 15 to April 18, 2011 for federal income tax returns or payments," said Fong.  "North Dakota will match the April 18 extended filing date for the state income tax returns and payments that are usually due on April 15."
