NDSU offers free family kindergarten program

The North Dakota State University Extension Service is accepting registrations for the "Gearing Up for Kindergarten" program in Fargo, West Fargo and Davenport, N.D.

The free sessions are for families with a child who will enter kindergarten in fall 2011.

Session topics will include math activities, science exploration, motor and sensory development, reading and literacy, brain development, parenting styles, raising a reader, learning styles, social and emotional development, nutrition and safety.
