North Dakota's scenic views

Living in eastern North Dakota, it is easy for us to think of our state as being flat, with treeless plains and endless miles of highway. However, the western edge of the state gives way to a very different landscape. The Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Medora area offers many picture-perfect photo opportunities, with free roaming bison, wild horses, elk, and prairie dogs, along with breathtaking views overlooking canyons, valleys, vistas, and colorful rock formations.
