Lee and Jamie Smith, West Fargo, are the parents of a son, Bryson Henry, born Aug. 6, 2012 at 9:56 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 21 inches long. Bryson joins three siblings: Courtney, Preston and Riley. Grandparents are Bob Short, Fargo, Pam Short, West Fargo, and Dewey and Debbie Smith, Mendota Heights, Minn. Great-grandparents are Carl and Pauline Stangeland, Jamestown, N.D., Darlis Short, McHenry, N.D., and LeRoy and Margaret Smith, Richfield, Minn.

Joel and Sara Erickson, West Fargo, are the parents of a son, Jack Elliot, born July 18, 2012 at 7:41pm at Sanford Health, Fargo. He weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and measured 20.5 inches. Grandparents are Ron and Connie Erickson, Horace, and Rick and Rose Nelson, St. Paul, Minn.

David Kawasaki and Cailin Bailey-Kawasaki, West Fargo, are the parents of a son, Jerome Timothy, born Aug. 1, 2012, at Sanford Health, Fargo.

Chad Carpenter and Victoria Shannon are the parents of a daughter, Carliegh Lynn, born Aug. 12, 2012 at 7:42 a.m. she weighed 9 pounds 3 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. Grandparents are Greg Shannon, Elgin, Ill., Karen Carlson, Lombard, Ill., and Cheryl Crawford, Wilmette, Ill. Great-grandparents are Floyd Carpenter, Fargo, and Tom and Nancy Gudgeon, Lake Geneva, Wis.

Katlyn Buckhouse, West Fargo is the parent of a son, Carson, born Aug. 7, 2012 at Sanford Health, Fargo. He weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces and was 21 inches long.
